Zephyr survey's the abandoned castle. "This will do nicely." he whispers

Raven, as a human, watched Zephyr. She didn't approve of this horrible place. It was a wreck.

Zephyr senses a presence, a strange one, but doesn't turn to look at it. Instead he continued to look at the broken building mentally making notes on what should be done to fix it.

Raven stepped back a few paces, trying not to make a sound and almost succeeded. She held her breath, wondering if the elf would turn to see her.

Zephyr doesn't even turn around. "And what are you doing here young mutant?"

Raven flinched. "I don't see the point of your asking," she said quietly. "When you know I have no answer."

(Ok XD whoops)

Zephyr stays poised underneath his robes, "I sense... uncertainy in you. You don't even know who you are, do you?" Zephyr turned, half confusion on his face half welcoming. "I'll make yo a deal young one, you stay and help me rebuild this place, and I will help you rediscover who you are... to the best of my abilities of course."

"Why should I trust you? No one should live in this wretched place. No one in their right mind."

"That's why I'm going to repair it, it's going to be a safe haven for outcasts, people, or creatures like me." Said Zephyr giving his best sympathetic voice. "And what do you have to lose, you're just a lonly traveler, all you want- is to know."

"You know nothing about me. I doubt you intend to find out." Raven hated to admit the elf was right.

"So cautious..." Zephyr whispers. "What makes you think I can't...? Or rather won't?"

"Because you want to live in this place. And really, what would you gain from helping me?"

"Nothing, you would help me and I would help you in return. If it means anything, I always keep my word no strings attached no conditions. Always." Zephyr says seriously.

"What reason do I have to believe you?"

"What reason do you not have to believe me? I am building a place for outcasts to live, what seems so supsicious and evil about that?" Zephyr cocked his head as he asked.

"Outcasts are always out cast for suspicious and evil reasons. That's why they're outcasts."

"I was outcast for a false reason," whispers Zephyr, remembering, "They had first outcast my wife on false charges, I had proof, real proof that she was innocent, they would not hear me out, after they had heard enough from me, they made up a horror story about me to bannish me as well, my wife was killed in her bannishment, I just wish to help others so they don't end up like my wife." Says Zephyr grimmly.

"Do you have proof, real proof, that this is true?"

"I do," Zephyr pulls out the official outcast paper, signed by the council that did the outcasting, and another official outcast paper, this one was for his wife, then a 'recipt' for the selling of slaves, human and elf alike, with his wife's name, obviously forged. Zephyr didn't come any closer, but rather used magic to float the papers over to Raven. "My wife was acused of selling and trading slaves, which is highly illegal where I came from, they took no notice that the signature was not hers," Zephyr pulled out several other papers, "look for yourself, compare the crude 'signature' on the recipt, and some of her other real signatues." says Zephyr in a scary tone, "I would never do a such thing either, they drew up another 'recipt' and put my name on it when I was banished." Zephyr pulled out even more papers, "again compare the signatures child." By this time hundreds of papers floated in circles around Raven.

Raven flapped the papers away, feeling overwhelmed. "Okay, fine. Maybe it is true. Still."

"If you choose not to beileve me, then that is your choice, I will find another then, one more helpful and less cautious." Zephyr sighed

"I believe you. I just don't trust you."

"ANd why is that?" asks Zephyr "Curious."

"I don't know who to trust anymore. Besides, I just met you. Experience proves that even those I knew well couldn't be trusted."

"Don't sterotype young one," Zephyr turns back around and moves a metal block into place.
